There’s nothing more comforting on a September morning, than a big bowl of porridge with cinnamon, apple and honey, to start the day!
Also, by adding ingredients like cinnamon and fruit to the oats, it makes it much more palatable and interesting for the younger ones!!
I make my porridge on water for a number of reasons:
- my daughter who is dairy intolerant can eat it
- its healthy and less fattening
- it has a lighter texture
