Welcome to my latest baking recipe for Peanut Butter Banana Bread. A twist on traditional banana bread with some peanut butter and chocolate chips added in.
I find I usually make banana bread when I have a couple of leftover ripe bananas at the end of the week. Funnily enough during the first lockdown when the nation went baking mad, banana bread was the most searched for recipe!

Try baking a twist on your usual banana bread with my super simple recipe for Peanut Butter Banana Bread with chocolate chips.
Preheat the oven to 180 oC
Cream the butter, peanut butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about three minutes
Add the eggs, beating well between each addition
Mash the bananas and add to the mixing bowl
Add in the dry ingredients and mix well
Stir in the chocolate chips
Line a 900g loaf tin with baking parchment
Bake in the oven for 55 minutes
Remove from the tin and leave to cool on a rack for an hour before slicing
